JAMES TRACY, long-time anti-poverty activist and organizer based in the San Francisco Bay Area. James' first solo book of poetry "Sparks and Codes" was published this year by Civil Defense Poetry. He works as an Adult Education Instructor and has held employment as a Driver of delivery trucks, Teaching Assistant in Special Education Classrooms, and a Busboy. In addition to poetry, James's articles have been published in such diverse places as Race, Poverty and the Environment and Maximum Rock and Roll. He is a member of the Molotov Mouths Outspoken Word Troupe collective, and is the author of The Civil Disobedience Handbook: A Brief History and Practical Advice for the Politically Disenchanted.

KIRK READ, author of "How I Learned to Snap" and the forthcoming essay collection "This is the Thing." Kirk curates events around town and cohosts the open mics series K'vetsh and Smack Dab. He recently completed his MFA at San Francisco State in "fiction," although most of what he wrote is completely true. He has worn many hats at St. James Infirmary, the city's free clinic for sex workers. He is working on a novel as well as two anthologies - a male sex worker book and a collection about the intersections between gay male and transmale communities. SARATHUSTRA, visual artist, zinemaker, filmmaker, writer and performer, whose art has been shown in impromptu squats, san francisco city hall and tons of place in between.

Plus readings from RoadDawgz writers and an intro from MACHIKO SAITO, international award winning film and music video maker and Roaddawgz' current Program Director and Publisher.
