Broken kitty on the sidewalk
with the sunlight passing on
and only people laughing
on the humor in the dead.

Broken kitty getting eaten
by �nothing� on the food chain
and �nothing� is walking by
with �nothing� going on there.

Broken kitty still forgotten
on the sidewalk drying up
and day is getting over
by the sun just going down.

Laughing in joy of lightness
only in yourself.
�I am myself in laughter,
no longer do I need myself.�
In passing and in sighing,
in waiting and the day,
laughter and the joy of brightness
are just a face for gray.


�Bleeding Through the Lines�
