I woke up in the mornin� to start my day
Havin� GOD in my life will fulfill my ways
I picked up my Bible, bowed my head to pray
closed my eyes and started to say
You are the spirit that gets rid of my sins
I call upon your name and it all begins
Your son is my savior and you are my lord
I use the Holy Spirit as my shield and sword
If it wasn�t for you I�d still be sleepin� and druggin�
Walkin� through the streets just stealin� and muggin�

The way I found the lord
was through the title of this Big Thick Book
Called THE HOLY BIBLE

I picked it up one day and I started to read
it made the darkness in me start to bleed
Out of my body, into the floor
All the evil spirits in me are no more
That is why I thank the word of the LORD
For giving me the power of the shield and Sword
